Gpu not downclocking
WebGTX 580 will not downclock while idle. Nvidia Control Panel power management is set to adaptive. Windows 10 power options is set to high performance. I have two monitors, both 60hz. I've reinstalled drivers, using DDU to remove them completely. I've uninstalled MSI Afterburner. I've uninstalled Steam. WebFeb 10, 2024 · Normally it should clock down to around 500MHz and consume more like 30W when idling. I've had this issue before and somehow fixed it. But i can't remember how. My energy settings are "balanced" in Windows and "normal" in the Nvidia driver. DDUing does not fix it. I have no OC app like Afterburner installed, no GeForce Experience, etc.
