WebbOur 1969 Piper Cherokee 140 (PA-28), based in San Diego, was undergoing annual and the A&P found a leak in the right fuel tank. It turns out, you can't buy a used one, or even machine it new because these are hand built and anything but the original will not fit the aircraft. We've tried external sealant, but that isn't solving the issue.
