WebTake both. Do Network+ first, then Security+. Network+ will teach you the basics of networking, like subnetting, ARP, TCP vs UDP, BGP, etc. To me, Network+ was much more difficult than Security+. When you get to Security+, you'll see references to those networking topics. I would have been confused if I had not done Network+ before Security+.
